Position Overview
As a Maintenance Worker under the guidance of the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our program facilities. This includes ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the premises. You will work closely with the superintendent to keep the property in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and dispose of recycling and garbage, manage compactor operations, and ensure refuse is placed correctly for pick-up.
  • Perform daily cleaning of floors, doors, windows, elevators, lobbies, offices, laundry rooms, and common restrooms.
  • Ensure timely snow removal when necessary.
  • Receive and properly stock supply deliveries.
  • Work cooperatively with the superintendent to optimize property maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and crouch.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, based on program needs.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish, Russian, Creole, Chinese, Korean).
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations across the five boroughs as needed.
